Sari is the Global Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) at Ingka Group. She has been working in this space for over 25 years, sharing her passion for fairness and equality and her conviction that “inclusion is everyone’s responsibility”. She joined IKEA in 2001 and held various roles within IKEA US (including Leadership & Diversity and Talent Manager), before joining the global organisation.
In her current role, Sari provides strategic direction and a systematic approach to ED&I at Ingka Group, integrating it into the overall business strategy and practices. Together with her team and a network of over 70 ambassadors from across the world, she leads the ED&I efforts, with the aim of creating a positive impact on people’s lives at work and in society.
Sari has an advanced degree in Organizational Psychology. She is a member of the World Economic Forum – Global Future Council for Equality and Inclusion, and a member of The Conference Board – global council for Diversity and Inclusion. Israeli born, and US citizen, Sari currently resides in Madrid, works in Sweden, and manages a virtual multinational team.
