Sara Kappelmark is a Partner at McKinsey & Company’s Stockholm Office and holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology. She has a background as president of a non-profit organization where she developed a method for measuring gender equality in decision making forums.
At McKinsey, Sara works primarily on strategy and transformational change in retail and consumer companies. As part hereof, she has gained deep experience in addressing unconscious biases and limiting mindsets through the design of effective countermeasures and rewiring cognition. She also leads McKinsey’s Women Leaders Up-program, which is organized as part of the International Council of Women Business Leadership, founded in 2011 by Hillary Clinton.
