Associate Professor, vice chair of the Danish Society for Women in Science (DANWISE)

Christine Parsons is an Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical Medicine, Aarhus University, and the vice chair of the Danish Society for Women in Science (DANWISE). In these roles, she works to create a diverse and inclusive environment in science and academia more broadly.

Before moving to Denmark, Christine held posts at the University of Oxford, as a Research Fellow and a Director of Studies for Psychology. As a passionate science communicator, she has appeared in documentaries for the BBC and Channel 4 in the UK, in news reports for NBC and CNN in the U.S., and her research has been covered in media outlets such as The New York Times and The Guardian.
